Living A Sanctified Life – Bob Gass

For this is the will of God, even your sanctification… 1 Thessalonians 4:3

The word ‘sanctified’ means to be ‘set apart’ for a special purpose. Let’s look at the Old Testament tabernacle: ‘The Lord said… ‘”Make a bronze washbasin… Aaron and his sons will wash their hands and feet there… whenever they… appear before the Lord… ”’ (Exodus 30:18-20 NLT). Why wash their hands and feet? Because our hands speak of our actions and our feet speak of our walk, and both must be cleansed daily. The Psalmist writes, ‘Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle?… He who walks uprightly, and works righteousness’ (Psalm 15:1-2 NKJV).

Paul points out: ‘In a large house there are utensils… some for special use, some for ordinary’ (2 Timothy 2:20 NRS). This is not about salvation; as a Christian you’re already in the house. No, it’s about cleaning up our act so God can use us in positions of honour! If you’ve been walking with God for a long time He demands a higher level of commitment! AW Tozer writes: ‘Think about people who find themselves in religious ruts.

They discover a number of things about themselves. They find that they are getting older but not getting any holier. Time is their enemy, not their friend… they were not any better last year than they had been the year before.’ Oswald Chambers writes: ‘Am I becoming more and more in love with God as a Holy God, or with the conception of an amicable being who says, “Oh, well, sin doesn’t matter much?’ Yes, it’s true, God’s grace is greater than our sin. But: ‘As the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him’

(2 Corinthians 3:18 TLB)

Jesus Really does Love You

Every Sunday afternoon, after the morning service at the church, the Pastor and his eleven year old son would go out into their town and hand out Gospel Tracts.

This particular Sunday afternoon, as it came time for the Pastor and his son to go to the streets with their tracts, it was very cold outside, as well as pouring rain.

The boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said, ‘OK, dad, I’m ready.’ His Pastor dad asked, ‘Ready for what?’

‘Dad, it’s time we gather our tracts together and go out.’

Dad responds, ‘Son, it’s very cold outside and it’s pouring rain.’

The boy gives his dad a surprised look, asking, ‘But Dad, aren’t people still going to Hell, even though it’s raining?’ Dad answers, ‘Son, I am not going out in this weather.’ Despondently, the boy asks, ‘Dad, can I go? Please?’

His father hesitated for a moment then said, ‘Son, you can go. Here are the tracts, be careful son.’ ‘Thanks Dad!’

Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand – Bro. Paul Talluri

Last week Bro Paul preached about “Repentance”.As it is written in Matt 3:2 “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at  and!” In order to enter the kingdom of God you and I must repent. He also strengthened us through his testimony. He thought that he is a Christian so; definitely he will go to heaven. But one day when he was sitting in the choir of Bro.Dhinakaran meeting, he got stucked in the middle and there is no way to go out.

At that time God showed his sins in front of his eyes one by one like a picture in 3D vision. Immediately he repented for his sins and asked God for forgiveness. He also quoted about ‘Lords prayer’- if you forgive others then you will be forgiven and God will deliver us from evil temptations. He also emphasized about love of God that if we understand the love of Jesus then we will never fail to repent. As it is written in the bible, Israelites thought that they will enter the promise land but unfortunately only three people reached the destiny. So there fore repent and try not to repeat the same mistakes again.

He also quoted many examples about Zaccheus, a lady who has caught in the act of adultery and Eli and his two sons. Duet 6:25 says, the blessing of the Son, the Father and the Holy Spirit stayed as a couple together till Lords coming. He pointed out that the Lord is coming soon for His Bride to take with Him. So he posed a question that “Are we ready to face the Groom? He emphasized that we must need repentance to face the king of kings and Lord of Lords otherwise we will not be able to meet our Lord God Almighty.

He quoted that Jesus always said “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!”

Note: Repentance is the root for every blessing. It is the biggest and very important act in Christendom. This will give us strength to face our Lord Jesus Christ. We might be having everything but if we do not have the proper repentance we will not enter into the eternity. So every body needs Repentance.

Amazing Love (Song)

I’m forgiven because You were forsaken,
I’m accepted, You were condemned.
I am alive and well, Your spirit is within me,
Because You died and rose again.

The Lord is Quick to Appreciate and Slow to Criticise

In the letter to the messenger at Ephesus in Revelation 2:1, the Lord  describes Himself as “The One who holds the seven stars in His right hand and walks among the seven churches.” The Lord is always walking in the midst of the churches, examining everything that is said and done by everyone therein, and especially by the messengers whom He holds in His hand. And He measures everything, not by the low standards that carnal Christians have, nor even by the standard of the Ten Commandments, but by the plumb line of Divine righteousness.

Rescue Helicopter & Love Letter Toons

Our God is a God of justice, but also a God of mercy. Through the blood of Jesus, God’s mercy is available to us now. It is up to us to decide to accept it. We don’t want to be camping out in “Sin Forest” when judgment time comes.

When we show love to our neighbors, we become like a love letter to them from Jesus.

Love Them Like Jesus – Lyrics & Video

The love of her life is drifting away
They’re losing the fight for another day
The life that she’s known is falling apart
A fatherless home, a child’s broken heart

You’re holding her hand, you’re straining for words
You trying to make – sense of it all
She’s desperate for hope, darkness clouding her view
She’s looking to you
